Tom X.

Tom X. grew up in a house where art and culture were fostered. From his earliest years he was exposed to theatre and music.

Drawn to cubism early in his career, it remained a strong influence. The fragmented components that made up his early cubist figures are charged with energy and thrust, the same intensity that fills his more recent canvases. Irony exudes from the occasionally distorted version of Pieter Brueghel's 15th century Dutch peasants or a bestial interpretation of da Vinci's "Mona Lisa."
